Hiked up Wank this morning, kind of my good ol' training hike. I wore mountain boots but left snowshoes at the car. Very icy trip up. The view on top was incredible, I rose above a layer of haze in the cauldron of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The trip down was so icy...it was a miracle that I didn't slip and fall hard on my butt even once!
